  3. When I first tried it I was skeptical. It has a little of an earthy taste that I thought was from the beets, but I have tried removing the beets and it tastes about the same. It is mostly sweet since it has blackberries and blueberries in it, Besides being healthy, my trainer says it gives her more energy and removes her sugar cravings. By the time I tried it I had already removed most of my sugar cravings, so I can't say about that. But I have noticed it gives me more energy. I'm now having it as breakfast the majority of my week. I make up ingredients on Sunday and freeze individual bags. Then it's pretty easy to blend together in the morning.
